Future Simple Tense Formula, Explained with Examples

(A)- Future Simple Tense With “To Be Verb”

Be Verb (Will be/Shall be): “Will be” use with (You, He, She, It, They, Singular name, Plural names) and “shall be” use with only (I, We). “But if you want, you can use “will be” with all subjects”
(1) 
Positive sentence

[Subject + Be Verb (Will be) + predicate]
Examples:

  • I will be a doctor.
  • She will be here soon.
  • They will be happy.
  • We will be successful.
  • He will be at the party.

(2) Negative sentence

[Subject + Be Verb (Will not be/Won’t be) + predicate]
Examples:

  • I will not be late.
  • She won’t be there.
  • They will not be ready.
  • We won’t be disappointed.
  • He will not be able to come.

(3) Interrogative sentence

[Will + Subject + be + predicate + ?]
Examples:

  • Will I be invited?
  • Will she be here on time?
  • Will they be coming with us?
  • Will we be able to leave early?
  • Will he be ready for the presentation?

(4) Interrogative Negative:
[Will + Subject + not + be + predicate + ?] OR [Won’t + Subject + predicate + ?]
Examples:

  • Will I not be needed?
  • Won’t she be attending the meeting?
  • Will they not be available for the event?
  • Won’t we be informed in advance?
  • Will he not be interested in the project?

(5) Wh-Word Form:
[Wh-word + will+ subject + be + predicate + ?]

Examples:

  • What will I be doing tomorrow?
  • Where will she be going for vacation?
  • When will they be finishing the construction?
  • How will we be celebrating the achievement?
  • Why will he be leaving the company?

(B)- Future Simple Tense With Other Verbs

(1) Positive Form:
[Subject + will + 1st form of verb + object]
Examples:

  • She will visit her friend tomorrow.
  • They will finish their homework later.
  • The train will arrive at 9 p.m.
  • We will go to the beach this weekend.
  • He will study for the exam tonight.

(2) Negative Form:
[Subject + will not (won’t) + 1st form of verb + object]
Examples:

  • I will not attend the party.
  • They won’t eat dinner at the restaurant.
  • She will not buy that expensive dress.
  • We won’t forget to bring the documents.
  • He will not call you back.

(3) Interrogative Form:
[Will + subject + 1st form of verb + object]
Examples:

  • Will you come to the meeting?
  • Will they finish the project on time?
  • Will she travel abroad next year?
  • Will we have enough time to catch the train?
  • Will he attend the concert with us?

(4) Interrogative Negative Form:
[Will + subject + not + 1st form of verb + object] OR [Won’t + subject + 1st form of verb + object]
Examples:

  • Will you not help me with my assignment? (or) Won’t you help me with my assignment?
  • Will they not bring their own equipment? (or) Won’t they bring their own equipment?
  • Will she not lend you her car? (or) Won’t she lend you her car?
  • Will we not find a solution to this problem? (or) Won’t we find a solution to this problem?
  • Will he not join us for dinner? (or) Won’t he join us for dinner?

(5) Wh-Word Question Form:
[Wh-word + will + subject + 1st form of verb + object]
Examples:

  • When will you arrive?
  • Where will they go for vacation?
  • Why will she leave early?
  • How will we solve this issue?
  • What time will he finish work?
